Stan Dworkin
 |
Stan Dworkin has been a fixture on WFAS-AM for
15 years. He is the co-author of seven books: five cookbooks and two gardening
books, and has also appeared on "NewsCenter 4" (WNBC-TV) for four
years and for a season on the "Today Show".
"At Home with Stan Dworkin" is broadcast Saturday mornings, from
9am to 11am but from 9am to 10am he is "In the Garden," though, with
the Stan’s broad interests, during that hour he may leave the garden and range
as wide as art exhibits in Westchester to feeding birds.
From 10am to 11am, Stan moves "In the Kitchen" to discuss cooking,
nutrition, diet and exercise or to share one of his many original recipes.
This is a live call-in show, and though Stan always prepares a number of items
to discuss, more often than not, it is the listeners' questions that drive
the program. So, whether your interest is indoor or outdoor gardening, cooking
or the latest in nutritional findings or shopping for the best for your table, "At
Home with Stan Dworkin" should be just your dish!
